Tortilleria La California in Cypress Park offers some of the best masa in Los Angeles. While it comes at a premium, the quality is undeniable--light, springy, and never dry. It's a must-try for tamale and tortilla lovers, though be prepared to pay a bit more for the exceptional texture and flavor.
The best flour tortillas. They don't sell them in any supermarkets, you have to go to their place to buy them. They also have pretty great salsa and tamales.
The chips here are my favorite, they are the best for nachos! Their tortillas are so fresh, you can taste the difference from the store bought shelfed tortillas. I have them special delivered whenever I have a party or event. You must try if you are ever in the area and you will continue to go back for more every time.
Legit! This place is not what I expected from the outside. BUT... prices are fair, staff is kind, and above all- the masa para tamales was GOOD. They take cards but charge a fee. Parking, as others have said, is hit and miss but worth it. And I am picky!
Dude... You can come here and get freshly made masa that you can just take home and start cooking. bought some corn tortilla and flour tortilla that is made with lard and one with butter. Super excited to try. Menu is there for you to look at all the goodies they offer.
